Kabush & Byberg take wins in Bromont WC!
Geoff Kabush and Lene Byberg both took
their first World Cup wins in Bromont, Canada. Apalling conditions saw most riders
lose the use of their brakes in the gritty mud and with World Cup leader, Julien
Absalon having technical difficulties, Kabush took full advantage amongst a star
studded field. Other notable performances came from Cristoph Sauser (13th) who steadily
makes his way up the rankings as we head towards the World Championships and a 21st
position for Liam Killeen.
Byberg too put in an incredible ride to take her first win at the age 27 beating
Irina Kalentieva by over two minutes and taking the series jersey from Margarita
Fullana Riera.
