I was at Crow Hill this weekend and although I have to say it is one of my least favourite venues I thought it was a great weekend, the course was extremely tough with no rest and the event as a whole seemed well attended with a good atmosphere. What did everyone else make of the weekend?

I thought it was a great weekend, i didn't ride the course so can't comment. The view I heard was pretty much that they didn't like the course but that it was much better than when wet for the southern xc. It was a bit dissapointing that more people didn't stay to race on the Sunday, there were so many there on the saturday that I though the turnout would be bigger. I wonder what the reasons were?

I think you can be excused after such an amazing effort on the Saturday!
Did you like the course?

Lee, great ride on Saturday. I didn't think you got enough credit in the race report. Turning into quite a season?

On the practise laps picking my lines I thought there where a few bits that I couldn't get to flow, but race day at race pace the course was much better. Realy had to work the bike at all times, last few laps I was just hanging on. Realy pleased with the season so far, hoping I can keep form for the Nationals now, but generally the race you realy want to have a good result in nothing goes to plan. Thanks for the support tho guys!

Yeh I think Lee did great on that course. In my view it isn't a course that lives up to it's hype. It does attract numbers though, except on Sunday when everyone seemed to desert and leave quite a small entry to contend the English Marathon Champs. Now that race looked a killer!
