Just to let you know, we have a cycle sportive which we hope you'll all be able to take part in!
The Macc Monster is a brand new cycle sportive on Sunday 10th October.

It's 100km with over 7000ft of climbing which I'm sure will interest many of you!

If you watch the first video in the link above you will see hat the 1989 UK MTB Championships was sponsored by Carlsberg, commentated on by Phil Liggett, was on TV and filmed from Quad bikes and helicoptors!

What happened?

Why have we gone backwards and what can we do to bring back that kind of media coverage to our sport? I have a view that ruby is very talented and yet when racing in the UK the strentgh of ladies racing is so weak that she often races alone or with only one or two competitors. Unless BC get her racing the domestic races at Elite level she will never get the competition she needs and will waste 2 years in the Juniors. Then when she goes to any International races it will be a shock.
